Erin became a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) in 2014 after completing her Master’s in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), with an Emphasis in Autism. She has been providing high quality ABA services for children with autism and their families as part of their home and school teams since 2010. Erin also received formal training in the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule 2nd Edition (ADOS 2) and the Autism Diagnostic Interview Revised (ADI-R), which helped to improve her expertise in the autism field and further support families navigating new diagnoses. Erin previously held the position of President for the Alberta Association for Behaviour Analysis and is passionate about disseminating trauma informed ABA in Alberta.

One of the first certified Behaviour Analysts in Edmonton, Erin has been instrumental in helping families access ABA services and spreading knowledge about the positive impact of behaviour science to other professionals, government agencies and school systems. Erin provides a wealth of knowledge in helping families advocate for necessary supports and resources in their schools and communities, and is passionate about teaching parents how to navigate government funding and school supports in Alberta. She believes that every child can learn to their fullest potential and live a life free from harmful behaviour that may otherwise hinder an individual’s inclusion, autonomy, and happiness.

In 2020 Erin founded Catalyst Behaviour Services, the first ABA company of its kind in Edmonton, aiming to increase the prevalence of Family Managed services in the region and make ABA services more accessible. Erin is a strong advocate for trauma informed ABA and has devoted the last few years of her career to improving her clinical practice from this lens. She strives to uphold the values of dignity, respect, and empathy for her clients at all times. As the lead supervisor of all Catalyst Behaviour Consultants, Erin empowers her supervisees to teach from a place of compassion while remaining true to the evidence based and analytic nature of our valuable science.
